For several decades, Elektor has traditionally published a double July/August issue each year, known as the “Summer Circuits” issue. This special issue is primarily dedicated to short, usually simple design articles for DIY projects in every imaginable application area, accompanied by one or two feature articles.
The Elektor USA Summer Circuits issue features over 100 designs, tips, and circuit ideas from individual readers as well as regular contributors to the magazine, all aimed at getting your design juices flowing and giving you a broad choice of projects suitable for building in an evening or on a Saturday afternoon.
The subject of the feature article in the first US Summer Circuits issue is the Elektor Wheelie, a DIY self-balancing, two-wheel, electrically powered personal transportation device.
Here are just a few of the articles in this year’s July/August issue:
- Guitar Amplifier PSU
- Automatic Bicycle Light
- Six-digit Display with SPI Port
- Acoustic Distress Beacon
- Desulphater for Car Batteries
- Measuring Milliohms with a Multimeter
- Four-component Missing-pulse Detector
- Programmable Nokia RTTTL Player
- USB Radio Terminal
- Braitenberg Robot
- Wireless S/PDIF Connection
