The position
We are seeking a part-time or full-time facilities technician. Duties will include building maintenance, repairs, moving furniture, and safety. Experience with commercial building maintenance or construction is a plus.
Summary
- This is a part-time or full-time position for on-site work at our Las Vegas location. Work hours are Monday-Friday, generally between 8:00AM-5:00PM.

- Duties include day-to-day maintenance, including:
- Preventive maintenance of facility equipment and systems, such as air conditioners, evaporative coolers, batteries, air compressors, reverse osmosis, and plumbing
- Minor building repairs such as replacing light bulbs, fixing toilets, and identifying air conditioner issues
- Safety tasks, such as inspecting fire extinguishers, testing emergency lighting, checking tools for wear, and maintaining eye wash stations
- Organizing and relocating office furniture
- Programming thermostats
- Organizing and cleaning the facility
- Other assistance as needed

- Familiarity with power tools (drills, drivers, saws, etc.)

- Fluent in English
- Computer skills: can operate a Windows PC, print, and do basic internet browsing
- Ability to do basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division
- Ability to lift and carry at least 40 pounds several times a day
Other desired (but not required) skills and experience
- Experience with commercial or industrial building maintenance
- Experience with construction
